About the Author

Gavin Dallas Jerue is a self-deprecating joke-maker, talk-too-mucher, delusion-of-grandeur enabler, and a friend to more than you’d think, but somehow less than you’d hope. You might find him somewhere in Long Beach, California either procrastinating, reading, playing video games, telling people he’ll totally watch that thing they recommended, or simply lying in bed and pretending that things aren’t the way they are. How noble.

Gavin would also like to express his infinite gratitude to his wonderful editor, Yesenia Perez, for without her, none of this would’ve been possible, or at the very least, his grammar would’ve been much worse.

Another message of thanks is owed to the early adopters of Gavin’s stories. The people who were shown the rough drafts and incomplete manuscripts, the people who helped shape the course of where his writings would go, from the shared classroom or wherever they chose to sit down and humor his small dream of writing, whether they knew the vast extent of their influence on his life or not. Those people are numerous, too many to name, and they have all given Gavin the confidence he sorely needed to lose himself among these characters and stories.
